Description
A variegated jade with plump, glossy leaves streaked in cream, soft yellow, and green, often blushing pink-red at the edges in bright light. All the easy, tree-like charm of classic jade with extra color. A long-lived good-luck succulent.
Sun Needs
Bright light with some direct sun — it needs more light than green jade to keep the cream variegation and pink edges and to avoid stretching. A sunny windowsill is ideal.
Water Needs
Water when the soil is fully dry, about every 2-3 weeks, using "soak and dry." The thick leaves store water; wrinkled leaves mean thirsty, mushy leaves mean overwatered. Much less water in winter.
Repotting Instructions
Repot every 2-3 years in gritty cactus/succulent mix with sharp drainage. Prefers a snug pot. Let cuttings and leaves callous a day or two before planting to propagate.
