Prayer Plant
Lemon Lime
Maranta leuconeura 'Lemon Lime'

Description

A vivid maranta with neon lemon-lime veins fanning across soft green leaves. Like all prayer plants, the leaves fold upward at night ("praying") and relax open by day. Compact, trailing, and pet-friendly.

Sun Needs

Medium to bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which fades the bright veining and scorches leaves. Tolerates lower light but colors are best in good indirect light.

Water Needs

Keep evenly moist; water when the top half-inch is dry. Dislikes drying out fully. Sensitive to mineral buildup — use filtered, distilled, or rain water if you can. Loves high humidity; crispy edges mean the air is too dry.

Repotting Instructions

Repot every 1-2 years in spring in a moisture-retentive, well-draining mix. Shallow roots like a wide, shallow pot. Divide clumps to propagate.
